Oh Mike is the guy that plays the saxophone,

He plays that horn with such a pure-tone,

But when it comes to birthday fun

He didn’t tell anyone!

He mentioned it to little old me,

So I’m sending birthday wishes, as you see!

It’s nothing special, but I felt there SHOULD be

Something to acknowledge that you’re twenty three!

And so I spin these clumsy rhymes

To say I hope you have a good time!

Whether it’s chilling out and restin’ your feet,

Or simply going out and buying a treat!!

Time to stop, I’ve rhymed enough,

It’s been quite painful, this rhyming bluff!
